Alex serves as a Supervisor and QA-QC Welding Inspector at DFZ, playing a vital role in the company’s operational excellence and strategic direction as one of the Directors. With a solid foundation as a Boilermaker/Welder and advanced qualifications, including Certificate III in Engineering-Fabrication and Certificate IV in Engineering, Alex is highly skilled in his field. He holds esteemed certifications such as International Welding Inspector (IWIB), International Welding Practitioner (IWP), and API 653.
With 30 years of combined experience in both offshore and onshore environments, Alex has developed extensive expertise in welding a range of exotic materials, including Stainless Steel, Super Duplex, Titanium, Inconel, Monel, Chromoly, Copper Nickel, and various other alloys. His technical acumen and commitment to quality ensure that all welding services meet or exceed project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
As a director and one of the pillars of DFZ, Alex’s leadership and dedication to quality are crucial in maintaining the high standards that the company is known for. Kevin serves as the WHS Advisor/WHS Manager at DFZ, bringing a wealth of expertise and a critical focus on workplace safety to the organization. Holding a Diploma in Work Health Safety, Kevin possesses in-depth knowledge of the WHS Act and regulations, which is essential for navigating the complexities of industrial construction.
With 25 years of experience in sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and infrastructure, Kevin has a proven track record of developing and managing comprehensive WHS plans and procedures for various projects. RJ Reyes
Project Engineer
RJ is a Project Engineer at DFZ, having joined the team in 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering in 2023. His academic background is complemented by hands-on experience through internships and undergraduate programs, where he has engaged in various design projects, including residential structures, steel frame constructions, and signage installations around Darwin.
RJ’s design expertise is a valuable asset to DFZ, enhancing the company’s technical knowledge and broadening its project capabilities. Design Engineer
